Bleach does not kill MOLD.
One of the biggest misconceptions in the cleaning world, is that bleach will kill mold. This is the farthest from the truth. Bleach is a wonderful cleaning and disinfectant to use around your home, but bleach will NOT kill mold. If you read carefully any of the chemicals that claim to kill mold, the thing they usually claim is the fact that they will remove mold and mildew stains, not the mold or mildew. The thing is that bleach does the same thing it does to everything else, it bleaches it. Bleached mold goes clear, and you are non the wiser. The issue lies in the fact that the mold is still there and getting ready to show it’s face once again. Do you ever wonder why you clean your bathroom with products that have bleach in them, just to clean them again in a few weeks. The reason is the mold or mildew never dies. The only way to truly kill mold is to use a biocide or an anit-microbial. These chemicals are cabable of killing living organisms. Killing the organism is the only way to get rid of it. Now just figure out why it was there, and how to change that pattern. The experts at Ajek Mold Inspection are here to help. Just give us a call to get rid of your mold problems, once and for all.
